kdesvn - accepting certs
by Emmett Culley
The new kdesvn program in KDE4 no longer has the choice to permanently accept an SSL certificate. I have to accept the cert twice every time I access a webdav SSL connected repository.
I've searched for any information on how to configure it to allow permanent acceptance, but nothing has shown up.
Is this a bug, or a missing feature?

K3B randomly spitting out disk after burn
by Arthur Pemberton
K3B seems to randomly spit out the disk after a successful burn.
Sometimes it ejects the it, some times it doesn't. Is this a bug? Or
is there something systematic that I am missing?

re: yum update conflict
by Neal Becker
Since there was a yum update conflict this morning, I tried smart instead. It
completed the update.
Is this because smart is smarter, or because it doesn't implement this
'virtual provides' feature (whatever that is)?

nss-mdns dependancy
by Rex Dieter
Any opinions/objections to adding Requires: nss-mdns to kdelibs? I've
been asked by kde upstream to consider adding it, else zeroconf (ie,
interfaces provided by libkdnssd) is non-functional.
Now, It's not strictly a *hard* dep per se, and I'd be happy either
adding it only to kde-spin and/or comps too (or doing nothing). what
say you?
There's a wee bit of history here to consider too... it's not been added
to comps default yet, due to some (?) unresolved objections from the
glibc maintainer. But... it *is* installed by default on the (gnome)
desktop spin.

PowerDevil not working on desktop pc's?
by Martin Kho
Hi,
Power Management -> Capabilities tells me that I have 1 battery and 'no issues
found with your configuration'. But the Battery Monitor can't find any battery:
'Battery: not present'. When I enable Screen Power Management - Edit Profiles -
> Performance -> Screen - the screen will never go into standby, suspend or off
mode.
Can PowerDevel / Battery Monitor only be used with laptops?

KMail part-fixed, knetworkmanager broken
by Anne Wilson
With the latest updates the problem of crashing when entering certain folders
has gone. There are still gpg issues. More importantly, knetworkmanager is
now broken. Since NetworkManager-gnome was problematic for me this is a
catastrophe.

Task Manager settings: grouping & sorting
by Martin Kho
In Task Manager Settings - right click the Task Manager - it's possible to
set:
A. Grouping to: (1) Do not group, (2) Manually, (3) By Program Name (default)
B. Sorting to: (1) Do Not Sort, (2) Alphabetically (default), (3) Manually,
(4) By Desktop.
When two instances of an application - eg 2x Konsole - are opened, with the
default (A3+B2) settings, they will appear in the Task Manager as one button
with a little "2" at the right. Clicking on this button, pops up a box where
you can choose between the two consoles.
Next, in Task Manger Settings leave Grouping the same and change Sorting to
Manually (A3+B3). Now, no box pops up when you click the 'Konsole-button'.
It's not possible to choose between the two consoles.
Is this a bug or just by design?

strange kmail buglet?
by Neal Becker
This is a bit wierd. It has been happening for last couple of weeks.
Whenever I send to _this list_ (and only this list), it kmail always tells me
that encryption keys have been found for all recipients, and do I want to
encrypt. Encryption keys for a mail list?? Where'd it get that idea?
