Alrighty, akonadi-1.0.81-1 landed in the repos, should address this.

Neal Becker wrote: "In kcalendar, I have lost all appointments."
I had this, too. Scary. Thought I lost my database. It is due to the wrong
version of akonadi (a lot of error messages show up in .xsession-errors, like
the fact that dbus cannot start and guidance-power-manager always crashes, and
that akonadi v6 is required, etc).
Anyway, as for the problem, open korganizer and select show resource view from
the settings dropdown menu. It will appear at the bottom, likely, and you
might only see 3 tiny dots. Pull them up and first select the file and birthday
resources that are your REAL resouces, then unselect akonadi resource. Do this
also for addressbook. Now, you are using the actual resources again, and not
the akonadi copy (which won't be available until the correct version is
installed).
This works here.

k3b, k3b-libs packages on Fedora 10
by John Pilkington
Hi Rex: I have a new F10 installation and in the past have used the
smart package manager, most recently in Centos 5.2. It would not
install the F10 k3b and k3b-libs combination because it had -
Found unbreakable loops:
k3b-1.0.5-6.fc10@x86_64 [R] -> k3b-libs-1.0.5-6.fc10@x86_64 [R] ->
k3b-1.0.5-6.fc10@x86_64 [R]
Will ask RPM to order it.
On clicking 'ok' smart exits.
I had a similar problem earlier with some atrpms packages but it didn't
persist, perhaps because new packages arrived.
'yum install k3b' had no problems, but I would like to be able to stay
with smart.

Interesting, my f10 (kde-4.1.3) box defaults to:
Default
Pulseaudio Sound Server
HDA Intel
PulseAudio

-- 4.1.85 BUG -- Screen Edges settings can't be undone (repost)
by Gerwin Krist -|- Digitalus Webhosting & Webdesign
Hi,
When you changed a settings once in the Screen Edges setting panel, you
can't unset it. Only changing the kwin config file will fix the problem.
Howto reproduce:
- Goto settings
- Desktop effects
- Goto Screen Edges tab
- Select a red "block" and set an action
- apply
- go back and try to unset (no effect option)
- setting will not be saved.

libtunepimp is now needed to build Kscd in KDE 4.2! IMHO we can't just drop
it. (That's also why you have no Kscd in your build and had to tweak the file
list.)
Unfortunately, they switched from freedb to MusicBrainz for their metadata.

Adding an address problem kmail.
by Colin J Thomson
Hi,
I have just run into this with KDE 4.1.80/F10
In Kmail right clicking on an Email address to add to the address book, this
locks up Kmail, no crash or errors printed when run in the konsole. I have to
kill it manually. I have tried this with Kmail and Kontact.
I am wondering if it is maybe an akonadi problem, I have tried to stop akonadi
to test this but it keeps restarting.
Anyone else seeing this lock up?
I will check kde.bugs later.
Cheers
Colin
