I don't have the time anymore to unbundle all the bundled libraries and keep a dozen downstream patches to make it work. freemind is close to a 1.0.0 release and I provided packages for that already in a small side repo [1]. There are also some review requests for additional libraries [2],[3].

So I will orphan the packages next week and will block them if no one applies for taking them over.

Im sorry to hear that... I always liked Freemind. But Im just a user, so I cant help becoming a maintainer (I've never been a maintainer btw), unless of course you have automated the repackaging process via scripts.
