There was an issue with overlays in general a little while ago, I
would maybe try doing an "rpm-ostree upgrade" to the latest and reboot
and trying applying the overlay again.
Has there been a regression? I’m seeing the same sort of behaviour difference as #1493
between rpi and x86 vm, even with quite simple rpms.
On the pi, the initial issue seems to be a segfault by rofiles-fuse. I can probably narrow
the symptoms down, but if there’s a known potential issue, I’d rather avoid that. It took
me a while to spot the core dumps in journalctl.
