Yes, 3GPP,

So I need to understand the Kafka streams from Iot or telco from sensor use.

I assume the RAN or OPEN RAN clusters with eventually have large workloads of sensors on the Kafka AMP for OpenShift, and a way to manage those sensors and the data processing at the edge or SNO applications.

I'm confusing on whether a data lake on the edge using streaming data is practical for a large volume of sensors for a geographical area. I know Open Data Hub has some data lake support where the AI of sensor data is possible. But I, want to test out a full implementation and I think Fedora Iot may be useful...

Ok, so you are saying the Nb IOT is no big deal on getting the connectivity. The sensors are going to be doing a lot more like smart technology stuff.
I want to look at Nb Iot and Kubernetes exploration. Like signal to spin up serverless or to prepare for disaster recovery with an SMS message.

Thanks,
Dewayne

Do you mean 3GPP? 3GPP and NB-IoT are both telco technologies,
generally Fedora IoT is more focused on running on end devices and
WWAN technologies like NB-IoT are generally things we just consume
from upstream support in places like the
kernel/ModemManager/NetworkManager. Could you provide more context of
your request please?

Peter
