The recent pkgdb update broke fedoracommunity. I have since applied a a couple of simple, low-risk fixes to get things working again. I wish to push the version in staging out into production.
https://admin.stg.fedoraproject.org/community/
This code also contains a fix for the bug that caused fedoracommunity to flip out when it couldn't access fedorapeople.org, as well as a new 'Statistics' section.
Can I get some +1's?
Thanks,
luke

does it also cover the case of other services that community talks to going away?

If the pkgdb, bodhi, or koji go down, it should gracefully fail and just display an error message where the widget or application would be. The problem with fedorapeople.org going down was a little different, and that has since been resolved.
