The opened ticket has not gotten any attention yet. And yes, all this is offered at:

There's an open ticket about this, it gets brought up about 3 or 4 times a year. So far no one has fixed it though. I'll try to take a look soon, I don't even know what these do or what fixing them gets us.

No one has. So they just kind of sit there broken.
