I'd also suggest that someone who uses the package co-maintain it. Maintaining a package that one doesn't use almost never does justice to the package IMO.

Hi I tried to compile graph-tool after installing all dependencies but my system is always hang whenever I use make. My system configuration 1gb RAM and pentium dual-core processor (1.83GHz).

I think the compilation process is a bit of a memory hog. There's a potential workaround at http://projects.skewed.de/graph-tool/wiki/GraphToolDownload
