That is the reason I asked for a quantitative assessment of the
impact. On hindsight, last year we tried to do a lot of things
(somewhat along the lines of being everything to everybody).
Personally, I don't think we actually had success on that.

What sort of assessment do you expect.
 

I take it that NIT is an institution - it should be able to set up a
Fedora mirror and, allow local installs. I don't see the surging need
for DVDs.

DVDs are distributed among the students who come from outside during Mukti. But even if we dont get DVDs we will try to manage. However we need a speaker to the audience who can show some stuff to encourage the audience. In this context i would like to mention that Debayan, Shreyank and me were moved by Kushal's visit to our college.

Previously I thought about using it only, but whatever little bit I have done till now was a result of his visit.
