Did you build the LKM by giving the ARCH=um option too ?

"Now from this src I have created a uml kernel & logged into it. Then copied my custom module from host machine into uml"

are you saying I was able to login into uml kernel (guest) without building it properly?

Hi -
I build a custom kernel module on my host machine FC12 2.6.32.26-175.fc12.x86_64.

Now from this src I have created a uml kernel & logged into it. Then copied my custom module from host machine into uml.

insmod says
# insmod myfs.ko
myfs: version magic '2.6.32.26-175.fc12.x86_64 SMP mod_unload ' should be '2.6.32.26 mod_unload '
insmod: error inserting 'myfs.ko': -1 Invalid module format

Any one tried using UML with Fedora and adding custom modules with it?
