Hi,
Apologies for late reply. I have never organized an Install-fest but I have experience in organizing various events/workshops. I agree with you that there can be issues during installfest so considering that I had already taken the demo session of my club members on how to dual boot fedora and they have successfully installed on their systems. I hope we will not be facing any issue during install-fest & we will also make it clear before the installfest to backup data and any data loss during install-fest will not be our responsibility.

‌Thanks & Regards,
Shubhendra Singh Chauhan

Following up on this - Shubhendra - did you get time to think through these topics?

Thank you for putting together the etherpad (and a ticket as you mention later). I have a few queries - do you have prior experience in putting together an installation fest? I ask this because the logistics for a 100 people install fest are, to my recollection, reasonably substantial. Not just limited to making available the bits to install (over-the-internet; NFS shares etc) but also, if most of the audience is attempting to dual boot their systems across a range of hardware devices, it is going to throw up interesting sets of issues. Also, if the intended outcome is to make Fedora the primary OS/desktop for your audience, what are the possible "alternatives to frequently used applications/services" should one keep in mind?
