FUDCon sponsored folks, take note(s).
by sankarshan
Relevant in the context of thinking about how important event journals,
blogs and feedback is.

Published blogs are useful beyond just keeping the community current
about FUDCon. They become part of news feeds beyond our community and
can get other people interested in Fedora as well. So be descriptive and
have fun with your blog entry — your readers will enjoy the time you put
into it.

How to override %configure macros prefix without editing macro files?
by Lakshmipathi.G
Hi -
I want to override this %configure macro's default --prefix=/usr . I like
to change --prefix to /opt. Do we have anyway to change this --prefix
without adding value to ~/.rpmmacros or other files. I don't want to create
relocatable package. Just default rpm install should go to /opt.

Fedora 14 media replication
by Rahul Sundaram
Hi
Can anyone inquire what is the cost of mass media replication (plus
labelling etc) in Bangalore? At some point, the rates for per DVD would
fall. If anyone can provide a few contact numbers, I wouldn't mind
calling up and asking the details. It would be useful for foss.in and
other local events.

Fedora on OLPC hardware
by Arun SAG
Hi,
I have got 20 OLPC's with me. My task is to create and install a
distribution that has XFCE+Sugar on it. Is it possible to run Fedora on OLPC
XO hardware? Is there any spin available in Fedora that could do the job?
