Request for comments : Fedora media distribution process draft
by Ankur Sinha
Hello Fedora India Ambassadors!
All of us like spreading Fedora to people around us. A major part of
this is accomplished by speaking about Fedora (spreading the word) and
providing interested users with Fedora media so they can try it out.
The Fedora Distribution process[1] was initially set up as the central
point of contact that was to handle and coordinate the different
channels that are available to spread Fedora media around. Over the
years, sadly, the coordination has been lost, and now we see the
channels as independent bits.
As a small example: You'll find tickets in the free media list from
folks who have Ambassadors in their vicinities themselves. If the
channels were coordinated, we could ask these people to contact the
Ambassadors nearby and get themselves media burnt : saving time, effort
*and* enabling the free media to be used for other people who don't have
Ambassadors around them.
Some of us have recently been working on tweaking the process. We've
come up with a draft here[1] that we'd like you to please review and
comment on. We also need more hands on board to help us bring this
change about :)
Can you please go through the page and provide your valuable feedback?
PS : I've already sent a copy of the mail to the Ambassadors' list. I'm
mailing the Fedora-India list so that we can also collect some India
specific feedback.

Fedora 14 Feedback
by Sawrub
I recently after many arguments with my manager installed Fedora 14 in
my office [ A full windoz house, some of the guys in IT dept not even
heard of Thunderbird ] desktop and one of the best feedback that i got
for it [Fedora] from one of my colleague goes like this.
" are itna sahi UI aa gaya hai kya linux me....."
Seems like we can add some thing like a "Great UI" to the publicity
material, since it seems that people common still have the same image
of the 'KAALI DUNIYA' the SHELLS when talking about linux.
Thanks

Great overwhelming respond from the slight remote place.

Conducted two small quiz to check the knowledge among the student so we can
conduct training accordingly.
Unfortunate I left due to my busy schedule after lunch.
Mr. Sham and our team again started after lunch with Fedora 13 installation.
There were 60 students divided into two class room. (visualized in
photographs)

leave class room even at 7:30 PM.
