RE: plan to disable some ibus-m17n engines

I realize I am too late and this has already been removed, but I think
there is some misunderstanding about the purpose of m17n:zh:pinyin.
m17n:zh:pinyin is intended for entering pinyin (for example nǐ hǎo).
It is not intended for entering characters. Now that m17n:zh:pinyin
has been removed, I don't think there is an ibus engine for entering
pinyin in the Fedora repos.
I suggest that m17n:zh:pinyin be unblacklisted.
Cheers,
Paul

iok-2.1.0 is now available in Fedora
by Parag Nemade
Hi,
I am glad to announce the release of next major version 2.1.0 of
iok. This version brings Inscript2 keymap support in iok. The new iok
uses Gtk3 APIs and some code changes for dependent libraries APIs. The
parser for Inscript(2) and xkb keymaps is updated to support new
keymaps. The Drag and Drop feature is now default disabled and can be
used manually by passing optional parameter "-d 1". The iok now open
Inscript2 keymaps default.
Note that Inscript2 keymap implementation is still based on draft
release of Enhanced Inscript Standard and these keymaps are available on
Fedora in m17n-contrib package. More information on usage of new iok is
available in README file and manpage of iok.
The new tarball is available at
https://fedorahosted.org/releases/i/o/iok/iok-2.1.0.tar.gz
Fedora 17 iok build is available at
http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=306859 and soon be
pushed to testing repo.
Regards,
Parag.

default font list for f17
by Akira TAGOH
Hi,
just ran the script to collect the information for fonts
again. I can see some changes in the list for f17. please
review it if it's what you are expecting. especially please
pay attentions for the fonts which is gray-colored and
decorated with bold:
Arabic - serif
Urdu - serif
that would means it may breaks the default font selection
when it's installed for other language (it is supposed to be
pulled in by other languages). if it's not what expected, it
should be limited for the certain languages then.
Also that would be a good idea to have the default fonts for:
Tibetan (bo)
Dzongkha (dz)
Thai (th)
On those languages, any fonts in "other" section, which
would supports that language isn't installed by default.
maybe good to think about picking one up from them.
