Level3 modifier
Product: Fedora
Version: 25
Component: xkeyboard-config

External Bug ID:

Description of problem:
In iersion 2.18 of xkeyboard-config Ruble symbol was added to "ru" layout,
unconditionally setting AltGr to Level3 modifier[1]. This breaks any other use
of AltGr, like grp:switch and there's no way to turn it off besides editing
/usr/share/X11/xkb/symbols/ru file. Since lv3:* options exists, it was later
fixed in upstream[2], fix was included in version 2.19.
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
xkeyboard-config-2.18-1.fc25.noarch
How reproducible:
Always.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. setxkbmap -layout us,ru -option '' -option grp:switch,grp:shift_caps_toggle
Actual results:
AltGr does not switch keyboard layout when pressed in "ru" layout.
Expected results:
AltGr should switch keyboard layout in any layout.
