I am not sure if this is a bug or a feature request (not being overly
familiar with the requirements). I would expect hyperkitty to be tracking
read/unread for (at least) threads to help me keep track of where I am.

Deleting list?
by Guillaume Libersat
Hi,
First, thanks for this awesome UI! We are so eager to welcome this new
software that we started a service called ulists.org that aims at
providing free lists for any project related to the commons.
My first question about HK is about deleting a list from the interface:
can it be done atm? Or, if there is a way to do it from the CLI, could
you tell me how?
Thanks,
Guillaume

I often end up at a list archive message and it is my first association
with the list, and I want to reply. pipermail provides a very convenient
mailto link to reply a message. I click the link and I'm in my email
client replying. One click simplicity. I tried out the hyperkitty demo,
and see that I can't reply without logging in. That is a regression in
usability.
Once I've logged in, I still don't get a mailto link, so I can't use my
email client, and do all the things my email client allows. The first of
which would be using a different email address than is associated with my
fedora account. And there appears to be no list archive download, so there
is no workaround. I'm forced to use a forum type software to reply to a
mailing list. This is a major regression in functionality.
