I'm wondering what the difference is between the "live
feed" on a hub's front page and the "My Stream" page (which is not
deployed on hubs-dev).
Both pages seem to share a lot of the structure, and maybe I'll do some refactoring,
but first I'd like to understand what are the differences.
So let's say my account is 'mizmo' and I log into Hubs. The first thing
I see is "My Stream." This is a stream (kind of like a person's Twitter
notifications feed, if you're familiar with that?) that has all
notifications directed at me personally in reverse chronological order.
For example, if I made a mailing list post and someone replied to it, I
might get a notification that there's a reply to my post. If I'm a
member of a hub that is having a meeting today, I may get a notification
reminder. If someone mentioned me in IRC while I was away or assigned me
a meeting action item, I will see a notification for that.
Then I click over to the design hub. The design hub has a stream as
well, but it contains notifications that have to do with design team
related things: posts to the team mailing lists, notifications about
design team tickets, blog posts of design team members, meeting
reminders for the design team fedocal... etc.
Does this make more sense in differentiating between the two?
Cheers,
