Summary: leksah-server shouldn't require ghc-leksah-server
Product: Fedora
Version: rawhide
Platform: Unspecified
OS/Version: Unspecified
Status: NEW
Severity: unspecified
Priority: unspecified
Component: leksah-server
AssignedTo: lakshminaras2002(a)gmail.com
ReportedBy: petersen(a)redhat.com
QAContact: extras-qa(a)fedoraproject.org
CC: fedora-haskell-list(a)redhat.com,

Classification: Fedora
Story Points: ---
Type: ---
Description of problem:
It is a weakness of Cabal currently that binlib package
executables are linked statically against their own libraries.
So there is no need for leksah to explicitly require ghc-leksah-server.
Indeed even it if were dynamically linked to the library
then rpm would generate the requires dependency automatically.
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
leksah-server-0.10.0.4-3.fc15
Steps to Reproduce:
1. rpm -q --requires leksah-server | grep leksah-server
Actual results:
1. ghc-leksah-server
Expected results:
1. No dependency on ghc-leksah-server
Additional info:
I don't think it is urgent to push updates for this
but would be good to fix this now first in rawhide.
