Games livecd / dvd
by Hans de Goede
Hi all,
I think it would be a great idea to use the new tools to create a Fedora 7
games livecd + dvd. However I'm currently way to busy to also start a project
like this.
Any takers?

Hans

FreeSCI
by Jon Ciesla
I've got FreeSCI basically ready to submit for review, and I started to
look for redistributable content, since it was originally designed to play
proprietary games, a la scummvm/sarien. The trouble is, most of the games
I've found have no licensing info of any kind.

nexuiz
by Philip Möller
Hi!
There is a first shooter game for fedora/linux named nexuiz.
It's ok, but a little boring and lame to play.
Can't that be a game to evolve ?
I'm not a developer in any kind, but likes to play games on linux/fedora.

Reviewers wanted
by Hans de Goede
Hi all,
I know I've already poked you all to review asc and vegastrike, and I'm very
gratefull for the reviews there!
But there are some other great games waiting for review too, which aren't
packaged by me BTW. I wanted to review these myself, but I'm just too busy, so
now I'm promoting here, please review :)
Here's the list:
vdrift
------
Cool, advanced and very complete 3d car racing game:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=234490
boswars
-------
Very cool command and conquer like game. I was never a big fan of CnC myself,
but many people where, so I think this is a must have! Especially for the games
dvd. Unfortunately the submitter doesn't have any decent webspace, so the
review is a bit awkward in that there is no srpm, instead one needs to download
the add-on files and the sources yourself. But definetely worth reviewing:

Notice that I've made a bit of a mess of the review by adding useless comments,
the latest version of the files to review (except for the huge sources) are here:

secondlife
----------
The Second Life client, now I don't play secondlife myself, but I think its
really cool there is an oss linux client now, and this really should be
included into Fedora asap:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=233946
Flightgear
----------
A review is already in progress, but still I wanted to point this out to those
who wanted to help. I myself have spent an entire day to get the SimGear lib
into shape and build, and I've lobbied Fabrice Bellet to become a Fedora
contributer (he has its own repo with Fedora addons including flightgear), for
more on Fabrice see:
http://bellet.info/
http://fr2.rpmfind.net/linux/local/fedora/
So please give him a warm welcome, as Fedora contributer and FlightGear packager:

Many Thanks & Regards,
