Hello everyone,

I and Rajesh went to Symbiosis (SCIT) to conduct an introductory session
on Localization for the Final Year students. Localization is certainly a
topic not covered thoroughly in the academics students were eager to
explore the subject. We did speak for about 1.5 hours and showed some
examples, demos, etc around Localization.

Of course the student centric audience is completely interested in doing
technical bits than translations, so having sessions or probably
workshops around development of input methods or font designing or
probably tools development would be an exciting one.

I felt there's a need to conduct series of learning sessions for
students thriving to dive into the language technologies. I am not too
sure about the feasibility of the idea though. Probably you guys could
boost my confidence by offering your help. :)

Anyways, that was just a very brief of what's happening and what's
expected around.

Thanks,
