Words are the only jewels I possess,
Words are the only clothes I wear,
Words are the only food that sustains my life,

Malayalam FUEL Project is a very good initiative to standardise the translated terms which are used on desktops and
various computer applications. This helps the users to understand and use the same translations across all applications on a desktop.

Malayalam translations are often done by technically qualified people who are proficient in both English and Malayalam. To make it more effective, we have introduced the localized desktop to the common people or users to get their feedback. Swathantra Malayalam Computing (SMC), the active open source Malayalam Community, has formed a review group within the community consisting of lecturers from various colleges and universities in Kerala and other Malayalam experts.

Malayalam FUEL project is taken care of by SMC along with Zyxware Technologies, Thiruvananthapuram.
