I have already completed the FUEL translation by picking the respective
translation entries from the current desktop environments.
WRT current translation it will be easier to understand the problem of
standardization and inconsistency in the languages.
So here i am attaching the file, people who are from the telugu community
can review the translations. And in the occasion of mukt.in event people can
review the same.
By hearing about FUEL-HINDI evaluation, i started this FUEL-TELUGU
I am also contributing for gnome, kde, firefox translations.*
I am also interested in taking part of in this evaluation meeting, but for
certain reasons i couldn't physically be present in this particular event.
Is there any way i can join this
Thanks & Regards
I am pavithran from KDE telugu team . Inconsitency and lack of glossary was
one problem which our team faced . GNOME translation for applications were
done to more than 60 % (while we started ) but our team members found it
hard to accept some words .
If you could look at the KDE telugu stats we havent been working on it for
atleast 6 months :( Its cause we didnt allocate time for it and we were not
clear about how to proceed and get new people into team . some guys came did
some translations and left .
I heard about FUEL and this brought a fresh air , our team decided to first
finish fuel ,next aim for achieving essentail translations in KDE 4.2 now
that 4.1 is freezed
Mukt.in a FOSS event at Osmania university,Hyderabad is the right place to
work on Fuelling telugu :)
some of the resource persons attending the event are :
pavithran ( kde telugu)
amachu ( kde tamil)
karunakar ( indlinThanks adux)
and many more ;)
Thanks and regards,
This is the current translation status of Fuel-Oriya traced from
respective applications. I'm sending it in attachment. Hope this will help
us in further proceedings.

I've gone through the FUEL program conducted for Hindi language and felt
how important it is for localization & how it aims at solving the problems
of inconsistency and lack of standardization in computer software
translation across the platform for all indic languages.
So I'm interested in doing so for Oriya language standardization.
Need some guidance from community.
