PIN Protection
by Bernd Eckenfels
Hello,
Really love to have an open alternative to G.Authenticator on my mobile. I
do miss the option to (idle) lock the application with a Pin (and possibly
have a cached password to encrypt the keys). Are you Already planning this?

FreeOTP Android app bug
by William Kray
Hi! I just installed FreeOTP on my Galaxy SIII from F-Droid, and it's
awesome, but I wanted to point out a bug: the camera to scan barcodes is
upside down, and appears to be very dark (like really bad lighting or
something). It's probably just a weird driver bug for the Galaxy lineup, as
I've noticed a couple other people mention this for other versions of
galaxy phones.
I'm currently running CyanogenMOD 10.2 and am happy to provide any
debugging information you may need to correct this. Thanks so much!

App on F-Droid or alternative download
by Riccardo Padovani
Hi all,
congrats for your idea, I think that open-source is the best way to go :-)
I'm worried for privacy, so I have a Cyanogenmod ROM without Google
Service: without Play Store I can't try this important app.
Could you make available a way to download FreeOtp without proprietary
store?
I think the best way is to add app to F-Droid[1], but also a download
for your site is ok.
What do you think?
Thanks in advance,

Advertising opportunity for Freeotp
by Clara Lambert
Dear Red Hat team,
My name is Clara and I am specialized in helping android developers to better monetize their apps on Google Play. Our premium advertisers are currently looking to buy android traffic at a very high price in apps like Freeotp.
We think you can generate up to $10 CPM with their full screen ads, which are very clean. Indeed, most of our advertisers are willing to pay over $1 per installation. You're free to display these ads whenever you want in your app so that it's not intrusive.
If you'd like to learn more, don't hesitate to ask me. You can also visit our website: the link is in my signature ;)
What do you think? Do you want to give it a try?
Cheers,
Clara Lambert

Tap for Tap SDK3 - Big Improvements
by Tap for Tap
Hi
I’m Jessica Purdy, developer outreach specialist for Tap for Tap. I’m sure you get lots of emails from ad networks like mine about your app, FreeOTP, so I’ll keep this brief. I’m writing you to ask you to integrate Tap for Tap’s industry leading SDK for app monetization and user acquisition.
Our service is 100% free and guaranteed to bring your app new users and revenue.
Tap for Tap is a small team of app-loving developers and marketers who built a mobile advertising platform with 2 major components:
1. Ad network focused on app monetization via high ecpm interstitial ads (banners and app wall also available).
2. Cross-promotion tap exchange - generate perpetual installs with no effort
In your account you can use a slider to determine how much of your ad traffic you’d like to go towards user acquisition on the Tap Exchange or towards monetization on the ad network. Good idea, right?
Our newly redesigned interstitial ad units are producing eCPMs in non-game apps as high as $15 and are definitely worth a test in your app mix.
Using a tap exchange in your ad mix is a very simple, hassle-free way to get new users on an ongoing basis. We also have a great self-promotion tool that allows you to promote your own portfolio of apps or is ideal for urging users to upgrade to paid versions of your app. We’ve seen many developers combine these services to make a very effective perpetual user acquisition engine.
I hope you’ll consider signing up to our free service.

Thank you for your time
-Jessica
More Info:
As always, you can pick and choose which elements you’d like to use. We both offer SDK and S2S integrations for our paid promotion services.
Tap for Tap is also fully integrated with Corona SDK, Unity 3d, Appcelerator/Titanium, Adobe Air, Basic4Android, Cocos 2d. We are also compatible with Admob Mediation, AdWhirl and MoPub. Check out our documentation at http://in.tapfortap.com/info/gon/documentation
If you’re looking for an example of a few great apps on our network, please check out Mind Feud by Monkey Bin on Android or iOS. Also take a look at Face Juggler on iOS as it’s a personal favorite among our staff. :)
