Sorry, what you mean by "You're trying to use code for a much older version"? Is there any other way more sophisticated?

You're trying to use code for a much older version. It still might work
though. The plugins were moved to
<python_dir>/site-packages/ipaserver/plugins

It would also help if you shared where you found the code and what
exactly you're trying to do.
