As I said in the previous comment, this is irrelevant to users configuration. this issue can be reproduced without custom configuration once you install both google-droid-sans-fonts and google-noto-sans-cjk-*-fonts.
One correction. google-droid-sans-fonts and google-noto-sans-cjk-*-fonts /and/ google-noto-sans-fonts to be reproduced.
Only google-noto-sans-fonts in them are not installed by default. google-droid-sans-fonts are most likely to be installed by default because of deps from ghostscript.
