Summary: postun scriptlet failures during uninstall
Product: Fedora
Version: 14
Platform: Unspecified
OS/Version: Unspecified
Status: NEW
Severity: low
Priority: unspecified
Component: pango
AssignedTo: behdad(a)fedoraproject.org
ReportedBy: jhutar(a)redhat.com
QAContact: extras-qa(a)fedoraproject.org

fonts-bugs(a)lists.fedoraproject.org
Classification: Fedora
Story Points: ---
Description of problem:
I was forced to install i686 version of pango package on my x86_64 system
because of some x86 application. When I was uninstalling these *.i686 packages
later, in the yum output there were several errors probably comming from
pango's %postun.
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
pango-1.28.1-5.fc14.i686
How reproducible:
1 of 1
Steps to Reproduce:
1. install pango.i686 on x86_64 system
2. # yum remove `rpm -qa | grep -v -e x86_64 -e noarch -e gpg-pubkey`
Actual results:
[...]
ls: cannot access /etc/gtk-2.0/i?86*: No such file or directory
/usr/bin/update-gtk-immodules: line 46:
/etc/gtk-2.0/i386-redhat-linux-gnu/gtk.immodules: No such file or directory
warning: %postun(gtk2-2.22.0-1.fc14.1.i686) scriptlet failed, exit status 1
Erasing : pango-1.28.1-5.fc14.i686 3/48
[...]
Expected results:
Package should be nicely uninstallable.

fonts-bugs(a)lists.fedoraproject.org, paul(a)frixxon.co.uk
Classification: Fedora
Story Points: ---
Type: ---
Description of problem:
The Dejavu-fonts fail to meet buildrequires to compile due to missing file:

2.33
How reproducible:
Try and rebuild dejavu-fonts with Perl version 5.14.1-187

2. try and build dejavu-fonts from src rpm

Actual results:
BuildRequires not met, failed build
Expected results:
Perl should provide missing file again or BuildRequires should be changes in
spec file for dejavu-fonts

Bug ID: 826026
QA Contact: extras-qa(a)fedoraproject.org
Severity: unspecified
Version: 16
Priority: unspecified
CC: fonts-bugs(a)lists.fedoraproject.org,

Assignee: psatpute(a)redhat.com
Summary: Glyph of 0BF6 TAMIL DEBIT SIGN ௶ in Lohit Tamil (and
Classical) fonts to be corrected
Regression: ---
Story Points: ---
Classification: Fedora
OS: Unspecified
Reporter: samjnaa(a)gmail.com
Type: Bug
Documentation: ---
Hardware: Unspecified
Mount Type: ---
Status: NEW
Component: lohit-tamil-fonts
Product: Fedora
Description of problem:
The glyph of one Tamil symbol 0BF6 TAMIL DEBIT SIGN ௶ in the Lohit Tamil (and
Classical) fonts is not true to the printed glyphs.
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
2.5.0
How reproducible:
Use the Lohit Tamil (and Classical in SVN) to display the character 0BF6 TAMIL
DEBIT SIGN ௶.
Actual results:
It is given a shape that is different from the actual printed glyphs.
Expected results:
It should be given a shape according to the actual printed glyphs.
Additional info:
This change actually has to be done in Unicode code chart first, and I have
submitted a document to Unicode people for this. I will update this bug once it
is approved. Till then this is a placeholder so that the issue is not
forgotten.
For attestation of the actual printed glyph and replacement glyph for Lohit
Tamil fotns, please see bug #807068 and its attachment
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/attachment.cgi?id=572886. Do I have to re-attach
that attachment here?
