When I checked out the helping with project page it said skills you have or would like to learn. Does that mean that some one with little experience would still be allowed to help? I really would like to contribute in some way or another but my computer skill are limited to just simple tasks.

Look at it this way: Fedora, like most FOSS projects, is widely underpowered.
It would be silly of us to deny to anybody the possibility to contribute.

There are many areas of contributions which require very few (or none) computer skills.
Things like design, marketing or translation come to mind.
But what really matters is what you **want** to do for Fedora. What you will **have fun** doing.
Once you figure that out, it won't be a problem for you to learn those skills you need, simply because you will have fun doing it.
So really, think hard about what you enjoy doing first.
If you have the skills to do it already, then jump in: contact the relevant team and start working with them.
And if you don't have these skills yet, start learning, and ask questions. We'll try our best to help. :)
