Hi folks,
In case you weren't aware, one of the easier ways of getting sponsored as a fedora package maintainer is by helping co-maintain packages[1].
We've recently been working on packing up stuff for the fedora-medical SIG[2]. I've just finished updating two new applications: freemedforms[3] and freediams[4]. Since I'm a little low on time, and will be in the foreseeable future (I begin a 2 years research course in July!), I would like some help maintaining these.
If you're interested, please ping me! I'll help you learn packaging, and you can then pack up other stuff too.
You don't have to wait for folks to request co-maintainers. If you use a tool and you want to help maintain it, just email the current maintainer and let him know (I doubt any maintainer will turn down some help :)).
You can find info such as maintainer info, build and updates staus along with specs, patches and sources related to packages at: http://bugz.fedoraproject.org/<packagename>
