Hi Josseline,
Welcome to Fedora and thanks for providing your introduction!
As per the conversations in the Summer Coding Telegram group, I believe you
do know where to head next in regards to the activities pursuant to this
project. Please keep interacting with the community to know more about the
projects and the activities you need to do. Please do not hesitate to reach
out to the project mentors in case you project-specific doubts or me and
Mark in case you have general doubts or difficulties and we would be glad
to assist you for the same.
Apart from that, please visit the links shared in your welcome ticket which
would help you with a guided tour in our community and make you understand
how we function and how the subprojects are maintained. Exploration and
interaction are the key activities here and the more you do that, the more
you get involved in tasks within the community.
Good luck!
Regards,
Akashdeep

Hello all!
My name is Josseline Perdomo, I am an entry-level Software Engineer from
Caracas, Venezuela, and one of the Outreachy aspirants for the upcoming
summer term. I would like to contribute to Fedora because I'm interested in
the project **Improve Fedora's automated community metrics**, it is a mix
of Software Engineering and Data Science, and I found it the best suitable
for my skills. I'm looking to get more experience and in the near future
land my career as a Data Scientist.
About my previous experiences, I had worked as a Software Engineer for
almost 2 years mostly in Python and Java, most of the time in remote teams,
in fact, I'm used to working remotely. During my final year undergrad
project, I had been working on a Deep Learning model applied to medical
images, an experience in which I learned data analysis and deep learning in
Python.
Since last year I have been interested in getting more proactive in FOSS
communities, I contributed to the last Hacktoberfest for the first time (it
was also my first time ever contributing to FOSS communities) and I found
out about Outreachy. I hope my experience during this month contributing to
the Fedora Community could help in anything, I'm always open to learning
from any member of the team :)
Nice to meet you all!
Best regards,
Josseline
