Hello,
My name is Makinde Tolulope, a *software engineer* with over 5 years of
experience, mainly working with *PHP (Laravel)*, but also comfortable with
Linux, Docker, SQL, and Git.
I’m very passionate about *Linux* — I write articles on it, share tips, and
I’m currently preparing for the *CompTIA Linux+ certification*.
I’ve also built a few *open-source projects*, including tools for expense
tracking and managing browser bookmarks.
In addition, I am a *technical writer* specializing in Linux-related
topics, which I share on platforms like Medium.
Outside of work, I enjoy *learning new technologies* (currently Ansible and
Kubernetes), *writing technical articles*, and sharing knowledge with
others.
The first time I used Fedora was in 2022, and I used it as a base image for
a Docker container running in Kubernetes.
I have never contributed to FOSS before, and I'm now willing to contribute
more to the Fedora community.
I have been an active Linux user for the past 4 years, and throughout that
time, I have also used the Fedora operating system.
I have hands-on experience with* shell scripting, systemd, basic
networking, security, PHP, G**it, Docker, Ansible, Python*, and other
technologies.
I have used mailing lists before, and my preferred real-time chat platform
is Slack or Discord if available.
I have never helped with moderating/administering forums, but it would be
great if I have the opportunity.
I'm willing to spend at least 5 hours + per week contributing to Fedora.
Thank you,
Regards,
Makinde.
