In the long term it might be cool if we have a cli or desktop client for
fedocal.
This might need, more work on the API (beside all the work on the client).

It would be nice to have support for CalDAV for easy use of fedocal with
Thunderbird or Evolution.

#129: Visually distinguish meetings in list view

Current design of list view is somehow confusing - at first sight, one
can't tell where meeting description starts and where it ends. Some kind
of separator between meetings would be nice.
Also, since meeting detail is now pretty polished and there is 'blue box',
it could be more readable if just part of meeting description was shown
and rest of it would be accessible through click.
I did quickfix for this, see attachment for patch.

#122: Meetings times are shifted sometimes

One or two weeks back I started seeing weird meeting times. In QA
calendar, we have Fedora QA meeting. It should occur 17:00-18:00 local
time (UTC+2). Instead, I see it sometimes displayed at 03:00-04:00. But
sometimes it's displayed at a correct time slot.
First I saw this problem in Zimbra, and after refreshing the calendar
everything was OK. So I assumed it was a bug in Zimbra. But this weekend
(and today) I see the problem in Google Calendar as well. But in Fedocal
interface, it looks OK. So I assume there might be a bug in ICS export,
which happens only sometimes. Unfortunately there's no way to force Google
Calendar to refresh external calendars; if I download the current ICS and
open it with Evolution, it looks OK.
I have no idea how to help you debug this, but there's a nasty problem
somewhere.

#125: FedoCal and California cooperation or similar .ics, .ical connection by

Hi,
Looks like the upcoming Gnome 3.14 release possibly will contain a new
calendar app, that is called California.
https://wiki.gnome.org/Apps/California
Yes, totally new app, but perhaps in the future will be useful to have it
as default app for ambassador schedule, and further tasks as desktop
connection. Technically would be cool by FedoCal to provide .ics or .ical
output that can be feeded by Evolution, or California, or by Geary. So the
question is the following:
- Is it possible to have some connection to desktop apps that can eat .ics
or .ical?
- If I modify on my desktop app an event or a note/date is it possible to
update online too?
- Fedmsg support as tasks noting?

#124: Extra Sundays meetings shown in iCal export, but not Fedocal

In the QA calendar, I created recurring "Fedora QA Devel Meeting". I
wanted to create it on Monday, but I guess I made a mistake and created it
on Sunday (or it was a bug in Fedocal, I don't know). So then I moved the
whole meeting (all occurrences) to Mondays. It showed on Mondays fine, but
there was left one stray Sunday meeting. So I deleted it manually.
Right now, I see only Mondays meetings in Fedocal, which is OK.
But, in Google Calendar, I see two extra Sundays meetings (June 1 and June
15) which shouldn't be there, and which are not displayed in Fedocal. So I
have no way to delete them.
It seems there's some disparity between Fedocal rendering and Google
Calendar rendering. Or, the database doesn't match the exported ical file.

#128: Design improvement of meeting detail

Currently the readability of meeting detail is not the best. At first
sight it't hard to tell what is the meeting description and what is the
name of meeting and calendar.
In attachment I did quick propose of design improvement. Reasons of
changes are from top to bottom:
* Meeting name is first and biggest (it is clear what detail is this),
calendar name follows. No word redundancy (e.g. word 'meeting').
* Kind invitation can be part of description? (actually not sure about
this).
* Meeting date and time printed with words is far better than ISO format
since this app is for people, not machines. Timezone selection would be
nice feature.
* Not sure if date storing info is relevant enough to be shown here
* Meeting description separated from rest of text, lines are shorter for
better readability
* Clickable nick (email?) of organizator woud be nice. Text about which
calendar is this part of ommitted, it is not necessary since there is
mention about calendar name at the top.

Currently the meeting detail is shown as popup over lightened background
but URL doesn't change (link to day/week). Meeting detail can be opened in
new tab so we can obtain link, but page shows only 'fullpage' popup with
no close button.
It would be nice to have permalink to meeting detail. Such page would show
popup (as if clicked in calendar) and closing this popup would show
calendar with week of given meeting.

#121: Meeting Details should show countdown
-------------------------+-------------------------
Reporter: red | Owner:

It's easy to confuse times (particularly with our global multi-timezone
community - where it's always too early or too late for someone's brain
somewhere), so it would be nice to have an actual countdown in the meeting
details. Just for those cases where my brain says "oh, it's in 2h20" and
reality says "rofl, it's actually in 3h20, noob".
Figure a static display from the time the details were opened would be
good enough, additional actual counting down through JS would be nice-ish
(minutes should be good enough, seconds are not that important, I think).
