A location field for Events would be good because I would filter a
specified location like "EMEA" or "LATAM". That's why I can see those
events that are in my "area".

It would be nice to be able to meetings by team and have the location set
to the irc channel. The irc channel view is nice for scheduling, but team
views are going to be nicer for reminders of which meetings you want to
attend.

At the moment the tracking of exception is rather bad and we don't log
much/enough.
We should port fedocal to use the logging module and log the exception
when then occur.

When I edit a recursive event, I often forget to check "Yes I want to edit
all the meetings" checkbox and I need to repeat the edit (provided I even
notice it). The checkbox is off by default.
However, if we make it enabled by default, it can also cause some data
loss in different workflows.
Please do it the same way other calendars systems do it - either before
edit, or after edit ask the following question:
{{{
This is a recursive event. What do you want to edit?
[Only this event] - [All events] - [All future events]
}}}
That would be really friendly.

This would be good because a user can search for an event so he needn't to
review everything once he knows its name.

You have allowed to edit past meetings. Please also allow to add new
meetings in the past. Thank you :-)
