python-passlib has a dependency on python-crypto (I think, my notes are at work).

I actually resolved this one by uninstalling the 1.5.2 package (which was just giving me a weird error), packaging up the 1.6.2 version from the cheeseshop which then gave me an error stating the dependency on python-crypto.  Installing the python-crypto package finally resolved the error.

Thanks.  Is this the best place to report these types of issues with packages?

The mailing list would be the best first place to talk about them. We are putting in place some scripts to automatically report this over time but it might be a month or two before they and any processes around them are in place.

Or should I simply open a ticket on bugzilla?

I have another issue with python-passlib as well.

Hmmm what was the problem with this one?
