Fedora EPEL Update Notification
FEDORA-EPEL-2020-e93c580ac0
2020-06-29 01:19:45.175272
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name : libglade2
Product : Fedora EPEL 8
Version : 2.6.4
Release : 23.el8
URL : http://www.gnome.org
Summary : The libglade library for loading user interfaces
Description :
Libglade is a small library that allows a program to load its user
interface from am XML description at runtime. Libglade uses the XML
file format used by the GLADE user interface builder GLADE, so
libglade acts as an alternative to GLADE's code generation
approach. Libglade also provides a simple interface for connecting
handlers to the various signals in the interface (on platforms where
the gmodule library works correctly, it is possible to connect all the
handlers with a single function call). Once the interface has been
instantiated, libglade gives no overhead, so other than the short
initial interface loading time, there is no performance tradeoff.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Update Information:
Add libglade2 to EPEL 8

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name : haveged
Product : Fedora EPEL 8
Version : 1.9.11
Release : 1.el8
URL : https://github.com/jirka-h/haveged
Summary : A Linux entropy source using the HAVEGE algorithm
Description :
A Linux entropy source using the HAVEGE algorithm
Haveged is a user space entropy daemon which is not dependent upon the
standard mechanisms for harvesting randomness for the system entropy
pool. This is important in systems with high entropy needs or limited
user interaction (e.g. headless servers).
Haveged uses HAVEGE (HArdware Volatile Entropy Gathering and Expansion)
to maintain a 1M pool of random bytes used to fill /dev/random
whenever the supply of random bits in /dev/random falls below the low
water mark of the device. The principle inputs to haveged are the
sizes of the processor instruction and data caches used to setup the
HAVEGE collector. The haveged default is a 4kb data cache and a 16kb
instruction cache. On machines with a cpuid instruction, haveged will
attempt to select appropriate values from internal tables.
