Fedora EPEL 8 Update: proftpd-1.3.6c-3.el8
by updates@fedoraproject.org
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Fedora EPEL Update Notification
FEDORA-EPEL-2020-2b2407abce
2020-05-29 02:56:06.419605
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name : proftpd
Product : Fedora EPEL 8
Version : 1.3.6c
Release : 3.el8
URL : http://www.proftpd.org/
Summary : Flexible, stable and highly-configurable FTP server
Description :
ProFTPD is an enhanced FTP server with a focus toward simplicity, security,
and ease of configuration. It features a very Apache-like configuration
syntax, and a highly customizable server infrastructure, including support for
multiple 'virtual' FTP servers, anonymous FTP, and permission-based directory
visibility.
This package defaults to the standalone behavior of ProFTPD, but all the
needed scripts to have it run by systemd instead are included.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Update Information:
This update includes the `LogOptions` feature backported from proftpd 1.3.7rc4,
which can be used to adjust the format of messages logged to the journal. The
update takes advantage of this new feature to remove the timestamp and hostname
from proftpd's log messages, since systemd logs these details with each message
by itself. As a result, there is less duplicated information in the proftpd-
related log entries. If the change in log format presents an issue for you
(perhaps you use some tool to monitor the logs?), the old behaviour can be
reinstated by commenting out or deleting the `LogOptions` line from
`/etc/proftpd.conf`.

ChangeLog:
* Sat May 9 2020 Paul Howarth <paul(a)city-fan.org> - 1.3.6c-3

FEDORA-EPEL-2020-090a55b2c0

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name : elpa
Product : Fedora EPEL 7
Version : 2015.11.001
Release : 7.el7
URL : https://elpa.mpcdf.mpg.de/software
Summary : High-performance library for parallel solution of eigenvalue problems
Description :
ELPA is a Fortran-based high-performance computational library for the
(massively) parallel solution of symmetric or Hermitian, standard or generalized
eigenvalue problems.
This is the kind of eigenvalue problem which is frequently encountered in
Electronic Structure Theory (solution of Schrdinger's Equation or variants
thereof), but also in many other fields. Typically, the solution effort scales
as O(size^3), where "size" is a measure of the system size, for example the
dimension of the associated matrices or the number of required
eigenvalue/eigenvector pairs (less than or equal to the matrix dimension). Thus,
an algebraically exact solution of the eigenproblem may quickly become the
bottleneck in a practical application.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Update Information:
Adds missing dependencies on MPI-specific scalapack implementation to avoid
broken installations where ELPA MPI was linked against OpenMPI and only
scalapack-mpich was installed.

ChangeLog:
