Fedora EPEL 7 Update: python3-pyudev-0.20.0-1.el7
by updates@fedoraproject.org
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Fedora EPEL Update Notification
FEDORA-EPEL-2016-3ad7519632
2016-06-01 16:24:57.539413
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name : python3-pyudev
Product : Fedora EPEL 7
Version : 0.20.0
Release : 1.el7
URL : http://pypi.python.org/pypi/pyudev
Summary : A libudev binding
Description :
pyudev is a LGPL licensed, pure Python binding for libudev, the device
and hardware management and information library for Linux. It supports
almost all libudev functionality, you can enumerate devices, query device
properties and attributes or monitor devices, including asynchronous
monitoring with threads, or within the event loops of Qt, Glib or wxPython.
The binding supports CPython 2 (2.6 or newer) and 3 (3.1 or newer), and
PyPy 1.5 or newer. It is tested against udev 151 or newer, earlier
versions of udev as found on dated Linux systems may work, but are not
officially supported.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Update Information:
A python3 version of python-pyudev for EPEL 7 only. All other are handled by
python-pyudev package. This package is necessary because pyudev is already
distributed for python2 in RHEL 7. Adding EPEL 7 branch to python-pyudev package
would, therefore, result in a conflict.

Fedora EPEL 7 Update: R-3.3.0-3.el7
by updates@fedoraproject.org
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Fedora EPEL Update Notification
FEDORA-EPEL-2016-4a34feb770
2016-06-01 16:24:57.539000
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name : R
Product : Fedora EPEL 7
Version : 3.3.0
Release : 3.el7
URL : http://www.r-project.org
Summary : A language for data analysis and graphics
Description :
This is a metapackage that provides both core R userspace and
all R development components.
R is a language and environment for statistical computing and graphics.
R is similar to the award-winning S system, which was developed at
Bell Laboratories by John Chambers et al. It provides a wide
variety of statistical and graphical techniques (linear and
nonlinear modelling, statistical tests, time series analysis,
classification, clustering, ...).
R is designed as a true computer language with control-flow
constructions for iteration and alternation, and it allows users to
add additional functionality by defining new functions. For
computationally intensive tasks, C, C++ and Fortran code can be linked
and called at run time.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Update Information:
Update R to 3.3.0. If you are using R on EL5 or EL6, please note that with R
3.3.0, it has dependencies on much newer versions of zlib, bzip2, lzma, pcre,
and curl than are found in those OS releases. I've bundled in newer copies of
these components and statically linked R against them. This means that if
something breaks on R on EL5 or EL6, you will be likely told to try it on EL7.
