Fedora EPEL 7 Update: root-5.34.26-1.el7

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Fedora EPEL Update Notification
FEDORA-EPEL-2015-1093
2015-03-08 20:51:37
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name : root
Product : Fedora EPEL 7
Version : 5.34.26
Release : 1.el7
URL : http://root.cern.ch/
Summary : Numerical data analysis framework
Description :
The ROOT system provides a set of object oriented frameworks with all
the functionality needed to handle and analyze large amounts of data
in a very efficient way. Having the data defined as a set of objects,
specialized storage methods are used to get direct access to the
separate attributes of the selected objects, without having to touch
the bulk of the data. Included are histogramming methods in 1, 2 and 3
dimensions, curve fitting, function evaluation, minimization, graphics
and visualization classes to allow the easy setup of an analysis
system that can query and process the data interactively or in batch
mode.
Thanks to the built in CINT C++ interpreter the command language, the
scripting, or macro, language and the programming language are all
C++. The interpreter allows for fast prototyping of the macros since
it removes the time consuming compile/link cycle. It also provides a
good environment to learn C++. If more performance is needed the
interactively developed macros can be compiled using a C++ compiler.
The system has been designed in such a way that it can query its
databases in parallel on MPP machines or on clusters of workstations
or high-end PCs. ROOT is an open system that can be dynamically
extended by linking external libraries. This makes ROOT a premier
platform on which to build data acquisition, simulation and data
analysis systems.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Fedora EPEL Update Notification
FEDORA-EPEL-2015-1195
2015-03-10 14:48:45
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name : html2text
Product : Fedora EPEL 6
Version : 1.3.2a
Release : 14.el6
URL : http://www.mbayer.de/html2text/
Summary : HTML-to-text converter
Description :
html2text is a command line utility that converts HTML documents into
plain text.
Each HTML document is read from standard input or a (local or remote)
URI, and formatted into a stream of plain text characters that is written
to standard output or into an output-file. The program preserves the
original positions of table fields and accepts also syntactically
incorrect input, attempting to interpret it "reasonably". The rendering
is largely customisable through an RC file.

Fedora EPEL Update Notification

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name : HepMC
Product : Fedora EPEL 7
Version : 2.06.09
Release : 9.el7
URL : http://lcgapp.cern.ch/project/simu/HepMC/
Summary : C++ Event Record for Monte Carlo Generators
Description :
The HepMC package is an object oriented event record written in C++
for High Energy Physics Monte Carlo Generators. Many extensions from
HEPEVT, the Fortran HEP standard, are supported: the number of entries
is unlimited, spin density matrices can be stored with each vertex,
flow patterns (such as color) can be stored and traced, integers
representing random number generator states can be stored, and an
arbitrary number of event weights can be included. Particles and
vertices are kept separate in a graph structure, physically similar to
a physics event. The added information supports the modularization of
event generators. The package has been kept as simple as possible with
minimal internal/external dependencies. Event information is accessed
by means of iterators supplied with the package.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Update Information:
Avoid hexfloat notation (gcc 5), Use greater allowed epsilon for test (fixes i686 build).

Fedora EPEL 7 Update: R-qtl-1.36.6-1.el7
by updates@fedoraproject.org
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Fedora EPEL Update Notification
FEDORA-EPEL-2015-1060
2015-03-08 20:50:36
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name : R-qtl
Product : Fedora EPEL 7
Version : 1.36.6
Release : 1.el7
URL : http://www.rqtl.org/
Summary : Tools for analyzing QTL experiments
Description :
R-qtl is an extensible, interactive environment for mapping
quantitative trait loci (QTLs) in experimental crosses. Our goal is to
make complex QTL mapping methods widely accessible and allow users to
focus on modeling rather than computing.
A key component of computational methods for QTL mapping is the hidden
Markov model (HMM) technology for dealing with missing genotype
data. We have implemented the main HMM algorithms, with allowance for
the presence of genotyping errors, for backcrosses, intercrosses, and
phase-known four-way crosses.
The current version of R-qtl includes facilities for estimating
genetic maps, identifying genotyping errors, and performing single-QTL
genome scans and two-QTL, two-dimensional genome scans, by interval
mapping (with the EM algorithm), Haley-Knott regression, and multiple
imputation. All of this may be done in the presence of covariates
(such as sex, age or treatment). One may also fit higher-order QTL
models by multiple imputation and Haley-Knott regression.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Update Information:
Version 1.36, 2015-03-05
Major changes:
* None.
Minor changes:
* Added a function flip.order() for flipping the order of markers on selected chromosomes.
* Added scanonevar.meanperm and scanonevar.varperm (from Robert Corty) for permutation tests with scanonevar().
* Revised plotPheno (aka plot.pheno) so that one can control the x-axis label and title (also, in a histogram, the breaks).
* plotPXG: if infer=FALSE and there are no fully-informative genotypes (e.g., in a 4-way cross), give a more informative error.
* geno.image: allow control of x- and y-axis labels; allow suppression of axes.
* Removed some warnings about missing end-of-line characters, in read.cross with MapQTL format.
* Fixed a bug in scanonevar; was failing with an error about coercing class "A" to a data.frame
* Dropped the name summary.scantwo.old(); still available as summaryScantwoOld().

This update can be installed with the "yum" update programs. Use
su -c 'yum update R-qtl' at the command line.

Product : Fedora EPEL 7
Version : 4.5.12
Release : 2.el7
URL : http://hcpnet.free.fr/milter-greylist/
Summary : Milter for greylisting, the next step in the spam control war
Description :
Greylisting is a new method of blocking significant amounts of spam at
the mailserver level, but without resorting to heavyweight statistical
analysis or other heuristical (and error-prone) approaches. Consequently,
implementations are fairly lightweight, and may even decrease network
traffic and processor load on your mailserver.
This package provides a greylist filter for sendmail's milter API.

Name : drupal7-views
Product : Fedora EPEL 6
Version : 3.10
Release : 1.el6
URL : http://drupal.org/project/views
Summary : Provides a method for site designers to control content presentation
Description :
The views module provides a flexible method for Drupal site designers
to control how lists of content (nodes) are presented. Traditionally,
Drupal has hard-coded most of this, particularly in how taxonomy and
tracker lists are formatted.
This tool is essentially a smart query builder that, given enough
information, can build the proper query, execute it, and display the
results. It has four modes, plus a special mode, and provides an
impressive amount of functionality from these modes.
