Fedora EPEL 6 Update: calendar-1.25-8.el6
by updates@fedoraproject.org
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Fedora EPEL Update Notification
FEDORA-EPEL-2013-0214
2013-01-29 19:41:33
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name : calendar
Product : Fedora EPEL 6
Version : 1.25
Release : 8.el6
URL : http://www.openbsd.org/cgi-bin/cvsweb/src/usr.bin/calendar
Summary : Reminder utility
Description :
The OpenBSD calendar command is a reminder utility. Calendar reads
a mix of configuration files and standard calendar databases and
then displays lines that begin with either today's date or
tomorrow's. The output of the command shows upcoming events for the
week.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Update Information:
Sometimes calendar outputs a previous entry with today's date.
For example, if there are two entries in .calendar:
Jan 3 Today is Thursday January 3
Jan 4 Today is Friday January 4
Run calendar on Friday Jan 4, and the output will be:
Jan 4 Today is Thursday January 3
Jan 4 Today is Friday January 4
The first entry is erroneous; the date is wrong.
The problem was due to missing braces for the 'adjust bodun rate' if() block in the calendar-1.25-linux.patch.

Fedora EPEL 6 Update: tor-0.2.3.25-4.el6
by updates@fedoraproject.org
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Fedora EPEL Update Notification
FEDORA-EPEL-2013-0207
2013-01-29 19:41:06
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name : tor
Product : Fedora EPEL 6
Version : 0.2.3.25
Release : 4.el6
URL : http://www.torproject.org
Summary : Anonymizing overlay network for TCP (The onion router)
Description :
Tor is a connection-based low-latency anonymous communication system.
This package provides the "tor" program, which serves as both a client
and a relay node.
Applications connect to the local Tor proxy using the SOCKS
protocol. The tor client chooses a path through a set of relays, in
which each relay knows its predecessor and successor, but no
others. Traffic flowing down the circuit is unwrapped by a symmetric
key at each relay, which reveals the downstream relay.
Warnings: Tor does no protocol cleaning. That means there is a danger
that application protocols and associated programs can be induced to
reveal information about the initiator. Tor depends on Privoxy or
similar protocol cleaners to solve this problem. This is alpha code,
and is even more likely than released code to have anonymity-spoiling
bugs. The present network is small -- this further reduces the
strength of the anonymity provided. Tor is not presently suitable
for high-stakes anonymity.

Update Information:
Various fixes for the initscript
Remove dependency on fedora-usermgmt-devel
Rewrite package from scratch and update to 0.2.3.25
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This update can be installed with the "yum" update programs. Use
su -c 'yum update tor' at the command line.

Fedora EPEL 6 Update: gitolite3-3.3-1.el6
by updates@fedoraproject.org
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Fedora EPEL Update Notification
FEDORA-EPEL-2013-0201
2013-01-29 19:40:45
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name : gitolite3
Product : Fedora EPEL 6
Version : 3.3
Release : 1.el6
URL : http://github.com/sitaramc/gitolite
Summary : Highly flexible server for git directory version tracker
Description :
Gitolite allows a server to host many git repositories and provide access
to many developers, without having to give them real userids on the server.
The essential magic in doing this is ssh's pubkey access and the authorized
keys file, and the inspiration was an older program called gitosis.
Gitolite can restrict who can read from (clone/fetch) or write to (push) a
repository. It can also restrict who can push to what branch or tag, which
is very important in a corporate environment. Gitolite can be installed
without requiring root permissions, and with no additional software than git
itself and perl. It also has several other neat features described below and
elsewhere in the doc/ directory.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Update Information:
Update to 3.3.

Fedora EPEL Update Notification
FEDORA-EPEL-2013-0220

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name : dvisvgm
Product : Fedora EPEL 6
Version : 1.1
Release : 1.el6
URL : http://dvisvgm.sourceforge.net
Summary : DVI to SVG converter
Description :
dvisvgm is a command line utility that converts DVI files, as created by
TeX/LaTeX, to the XML-based scalable vector graphics format SVG. Besides
the basic DVI command set, dvisvgm also supports various special sets, like
color, PostScript and TPIC.
Fonts that are only available as Metafont source are automatically vectorized
so that the generated SVG is freely scalable without loss of quality.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Update Information:
The latest release of dvisvgm is a small feature update that introduces support for sub-fonts, TrueType collections (.ttc files), and PDF mapline/mapfile specials. These additions enable dvisvgm to convert a subset of DVI files created with CTeX, for example.
For further information including a more detailed list of recent
changes see the project page http://dvisvgm.sourceforge.net.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This update can be installed with the "yum" update programs. Use
