Fedora EPEL 5 Update: multitail-5.2.8-2.el5
by updates@fedoraproject.org
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Fedora EPEL Update Notification
FEDORA-EPEL-2012-13654
2012-12-04 19:11:05
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name : multitail
Product : Fedora EPEL 5
Version : 5.2.8
Release : 2.el5
URL : http://www.vanheusden.com/multitail/
Summary : View one or multiple files like tail but with multiple windows
Description :
MultiTail lets you view one or multiple files like the original tail
program. The difference is that it creates multiple windows on your
console (with ncurses). It can also monitor wildcards: if another file
matching the wildcard has a more recent modification date, it will
automatically switch to that file. That way you can, for example,
monitor a complete directory of files. Merging of 2 or even more
logfiles is possible.
It can also use colors while displaying the logfiles (through regular
expressions), for faster recognition of what is important and what not.
Multitail can also filter lines (again with regular expressions) and
has interactive menus for editing given regular expressions and
deleting and adding windows. One can also have windows with the output
of shell scripts and other software. When viewing the output of
external software, MultiTail can mimic the functionality of tools like
'watch' and such.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Update Information:
First release in EPEL.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This update can be installed with the "yum" update programs. Use

Fedora EPEL 5 Update: pam_mapi-0.1.2-1.el5
by updates@fedoraproject.org
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Fedora EPEL Update Notification
FEDORA-EPEL-2012-13619
2012-12-01 00:33:10
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name : pam_mapi
Product : Fedora EPEL 5
Version : 0.1.2
Release : 1.el5
URL : http://ftp.robert-scheck.de/linux/pam_mapi/
Summary : PAM module for authentication via MAPI against a Zarafa server
Description :
pam_mapi is a PAM module (Pluggable Authentication Modules) for authentication
against a Zarafa server. Applications like Zarafa WebAccess, Zarafa WebApp or
Microsoft Outlook which directly connect to the Zarafa Collaboration Platform
use MAPI in SOAP to do so. If Zarafa is configured to use the DB authentication
plugin, all user information are stored in a MySQL database.
Once IMAP/POP3 is used via the Zarafa Gateway, SMTP gets involved for outbound
e-mails, too. Usually this requires SMTP authentication (to avoid open relays),
but the user information in the MySQL database is unfortunately not accessible
for established SASL daemons. The pam_mapi module is filling this gap by adding
MAPI-based authentication to PAM and thus to SMTP daemons via SASL.
Just execute "cat /usr/share/doc/pam_mapi-0.1.2/pam.conf > /etc/pam.d/smtp" for
a simple setup. Please read the documentation for more extended configurations.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Update Information:
- Added checks for build-time dependencies on zlib, uuid & icu to work around the broken Zarafa binary distribution packages
- Fixed the "undefined symbol" errors appearing with GCC 4.6, thanks to Steffen Sachse (reporter) and Tomas Mraz (Red Hat)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This update can be installed with the "yum" update programs. Use
su -c 'yum update pam_mapi' at the command line.
For more information, refer to "Managing Software with yum",
available at http://docs.fedoraproject.org/yum/.
