Fedora EPEL Update Notification
FEDORA-EPEL-2010-2458

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name : bitlbee
Product : Fedora EPEL 5
Version : 1.2.5
Release : 1.el5
URL : http://www.bitlbee.org/
Summary : IRC to other chat networks gateway
Description :
Bitlbee is an IRC to other chat networks gateway. Bitlbee can be used as
an IRC server which forwards everything you say to people on other chat
networks like ICQ, MSN, Jabber or Yahoo!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Update Information:
- Many bug fixes, including a fix for MSN login issues, Jabber login timing
issues, Yahoo! crashes at login time with huge contact lists, - Avoid linking
in a static version of libresolv now that glibc has all relevant functions
available in the dynamic version. - Improved away state code and added the
ability to set (non-away) status messages using "set status" (also possible per
account) and see them in blist and /whois output. - Added a post-1.2 equivalent
of encode/decode to quickly encrypt/decrypt passwords in a way that BitlBee can
read them. - Allow using the full name for generating nicknames, instead of
just the handle. This is especially useful when using the Facebook XMPP server.
- Auto reconnect is now enabled by default since all protocols can properly
detect cases where auto reconnect should be avoided (i.e. concurrent logins). -
Changed the default resource_select setting which should reduce message routing
issues on Jabber (i.e. messages going someone's phone instead of the main
client).
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This update can be installed with the "yum" update programs. Use
su -c 'yum update bitlbee' at the command line.
For more information, refer to "Managing Software with yum",
available at http://docs.fedoraproject.org/yum/.

Name : libguestfs
Product : Fedora EPEL 5
Version : 1.0.85
Release : 1.el5.9
URL : http://libguestfs.org/
Summary : Access and modify virtual machine disk images
Description :
Libguestfs is a library for accessing and modifying guest disk images.
Amongst the things this is good for: making batch configuration
changes to guests, getting disk used/free statistics (see also:
virt-df), migrating between virtualization systems (see also:
virt-p2v), performing partial backups, performing partial guest
clones, cloning guests and changing registry/UUID/hostname info, and
much else besides.
Libguestfs uses Linux kernel and qemu code, and can access any type of
guest filesystem that Linux and qemu can, including but not limited
to: ext2/3/4, btrfs, FAT and NTFS, LVM, many different disk partition
schemes, qcow, qcow2, vmdk.
Libguestfs provides ways to enumerate guest storage (eg. partitions,
LVs, what filesystem is in each LV, etc.). It can also run commands
in the context of the guest.
Libguestfs is a library that can be linked with C and C++ management
programs.
See also the 'guestfish' package for shell scripting and command line
access, and 'libguestfs-mount' for mounting guest filesystems on the
host using FUSE.
For Perl bindings, see 'perl-libguestfs'.
For OCaml bindings, see 'ocaml-libguestfs-devel'.
For Python bindings, see 'python-libguestfs'.
For Ruby bindings, see 'ruby-libguestfs'.
For Java bindings, see 'libguestfs-java-devel'.
