Sounds like an amazing solution to me, I'll follow up on the link you've sent me along with the kodi link Stephen J Smoogen kindly offered me in order to reach a viable future solution.

Thanks very much for getting back to me so soon and at the weekend on this matter.

During the process I'm going to attempt to downgrade the FreeRDP-2.? version that's been installed to FreeRDP-version 1.? So that I may carry on with the APACHE guacamole developing I've been committed to for the last while, while they themselves also work towards supporting FreeRDP-2.x.x. I think it's just because they dont have developers around in the community whom have enough spare time to commit towards this support rollout.

Kind regards,
Darren Wise

So, we're not quite ready for this yet in EPEL, but allowing multiple
versions of packages to be maintained within the same, official repository
is what the Modularity feature in Fedora and now RHEL 8 is for. Would you be
interested in maintaining the versions you need as part of that?

In the meantime, let me direct you to Copr, our system for building and
offering package repositories with a very low barrier to entry. Check it out
at https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/. This would be a great place to start,
and then once we have modular EPEL up and running you could migrate packages
to that.
