Hello folks,
I've just noticed that some packages in EPEL 8 are broken when used in
CentOS 8 Stream. One example:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1989062
which has been broken for a long time now (from well before I decided to
finally report the bug).
EPEL 8 is fundamental for me, I can't use the system without. So here is
the important question: is the EPEL project going to support CentOS 8
Stream?
With CentOS 8 gone I didn't mind to switch to CentOS 8 Stream, I thought
that for my use it would be ok... until I noticed packages in EPEL 8 not
working.
It's very important for me to know the answer to this as if the answer is
no I have to drop CentOS 8 Stream right away and switch to something else,
like RockyLinux or Alma.
Thank you.
Kind regards.
Enrico Tagliavini

perl-Inline-Python-0.56-19.el8 (FEDORA-EPEL-2021-b2195aecbb)
Write Perl subs and classes in Python
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Update Information:
The Inline::Python module allows you to put Python source code directly "inline"
in a Perl script or module. It sets up an in-process Python interpreter, runs
your code, and then examines Python's symbol table for things to bind to Perl.
The process of interrogating the Python interpreter for global variables only
occurs the first time you run your Python code. The name-space is cached, and
subsequent calls use the cached version.

I have ported the EPEL wiki pages that I know about to my fork of EPEL in
pagure[1]. Except for a few FAQ questions that were horribly out of date,
I didn't change anything other than formatting.
Can people look at the pages and let me know
A) Am I missing any wiki pages?
B) Do I have any wiki pages that I shouldn't
C) Is there some horrible formatting errors.
