As I said in another email, the memrchr and rawmemchr check doesn't
work. It should be something like:
AC_CHECK_DECLS([memrchr, rawmemchr],[],[],
[#define _GNU_SOURCE
#include <string.h>])
The rest of the patch looks fine though. So I have pushed it with the
above fix.
