Created attachment 1005062 --> https://bugzilla.redhat.com/attachment.cgi?id=1005062&action=edit Log of eclipse session after update to broken versions
Description of problem: Package versions eclipse-jgit-3.5.0-1.fc21 and eclipse-egit-3.5.0-1.fc21 work correctly. When updating via yum to eclipse-jgit-3.7.0-1.fc21 and eclipse-egit-3.6.2-1.fc21 , previously working git projects in the eclipse workspace lose their git association. Examination of the eclipse log shows that the jgit package cannot initialize. Downgrading to previous versions works around the issue and restores git association.
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): eclipse-jgit-3.7.0-1.fc21 eclipse-egit-3.6.2-1.fc21 eclipse-platform-4.4.2-2.fc21.x86_64
How reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce: 1. Create a git proyect with previous working eclipse-egit and eclipse-jgit versions. 2. Update 3. Reopen eclipse and open previously-working proyect
Actual results: Existing git project loses git properties (items in context menu, annotation of git repository, etc.). Eclipse log contains error messages.
Expected results: Existing git project should keep working as before the update.
Additional info: Eclipse log attached
