When doing this you need to add an epoch in order to make sure people get the

[Bug 1316658] New: eclipse - impossible to convert project to a "Synchronized Project"
by Red Hat Bugzilla
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1316658
Bug ID: 1316658
Summary: eclipse - impossible to convert project to a
"Synchronized Project"
Product: Fedora
Version: 23
Component: eclipse
Severity: high
Assignee: akurtako(a)redhat.com
Reporter: peljasz(a)yahoo.co.uk
QA Contact: extras-qa(a)fedoraproject.org
CC: akurtako(a)redhat.com, andjrobins(a)gmail.com,

mat.booth(a)redhat.com, rgrunber(a)redhat.com
Description of problem:
I cite after: https://wiki.eclipse.org/PTP/sync-projects
"
User has an existing local project that has been checked out of revision
control system
User launches "Convert to remote sync project" wizard
User supplies the remote host, username, password, and remote path
Wizard sets up builder/scanner discovery/remote paths to work on remote
system
The project is synchronized with the remote machine
RCS control files are not synchronized
"
I'm in this exact situation(SVN), having checked out a php project, being in
"Resource" perspective I try to convert, but my project does not show up in the
list of projects the wizard want to choose. Actually I have only this one
project in whole Eclipse.
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
eclipse-platform-4.5.1-12.fc23.x86_64
eclipse-ptp-9.0.1-1.fc23.x86_64
