Iconset has been updated with the adoption of Oxygen version. Missing symbols for buttons are added. Buttons are rounded edge on two big sizes. 16x16 version is tricky because of contrast between screen and frame. Comment and suggestion welcome.
Updated version with additional logo and small details on 256x256. 16x16 version now has sightly darker screen for contrast.
Few suggestions: * make the corners of body and display less rounded
Done
* on the other hand, make the corners on buttons slightly more rounded
Done
* try to add some 3D effect on the buttons and the calculator body in 256x256
Done. Buttons have 3D effects in subtle way.
* I'd make the display bigger to fit two rows of text (one row smaller for formulas, and one row bigger for results) instead of adding the 'echo' logo
Done. Should I put a formula on top? You can pick an example.
* the off/on/c buttons would look better with smaller text
Replaced by M-, M+, and MR, following Kris' suggestion. Texts are now smaller.
* how about making the body of the calculator blackish for better contrast, or, like in oxygen (and maybe even better), making the body bright and buttons dark?
I will try those soon. I forgot to do them.
* some border around the display (like in oxygen) might help
Done. Because the screen is integrated in the calculator I chose not to make the border too thick.
* use less buttons in smaller sizes to increase usability
Done on tiny size. I think other size are fine because further reducing at 22x22 does not work at all.
* put some padding between the two top rows of buttons (and remove the line above them)
Done.
* Did you use '-' (hyphen) or '−' (minus sign) for the minus button? It seems to be shorter than "+"
Fixed. My laptop seems to not have minus sign keyboard.
