We're unable to build .net5 from source, as soon as work towards that is done, it will be available in RHEL, CentOS and Fedora. The "work" includes the completion of: https://github.com/dotnet/source-build/wiki/Driving-to-zero-prebuilt-dependencies-in-5.0
