Hello,
I wanted to share a free tool I've built that might be useful to the
.NET development community.
It's called Ptero, a free AI chat platform that provides access to
multiple large language models in one place. It requires no signup and
has no limits.
For C# and .NET developers, it can assist with:
- Debugging code and understanding compiler errors
- Generating boilerplate code and refactoring suggestions
- Brainstorming architecture patterns or design ideas
- Explaining complex LINQ, async, or OOP concepts
Key features:
- No signup required – just start using it
- Multiple AI models to compare responses
- Completely free
You can try it here: https://ptero.pro/
I'd love to hear honest feedback. What would make this more helpful
for .NET developers?
Thanks for your time.
Hey!
.NET 8 and .NET 9 will be reaching their End Of Life in November of this
year (2026-11-10, to be precise):
https://dotnet.microsoft.com/en-us/platform/support/policy/dotnet-core#life…
Like previous years, I am going to retire dotnet8.0 and dotnet9.0 from
Rawhide (what will become Fedora 45 in/around November). The packages
will still be available in existing versions of Fedora (up to Fedora
44). I will keep on updating them until November too. However, they will
not get any more updates after November.
dotnet10.0 will stay, and hopefully we can add dotnet11.0 too.
Any thoughts, comments or feedback?
Thanks,
Omair
