Hey All,
Was there anything that needed working on?
I mentioned transferring information from my website to the wiki but I haven't heard any feedback regarding that and I don't really want to start by screwing up the wiki.
Cheers,
Marc

For the record, as you know, Marc, this is documented in the minutes from the last FDSCo meeting at http://www.redhat.com/archives/fedora-docs-list/2007-October/msg00063.html and in slightly more readable format at http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/DocsProject/SteeringCommittee/Meetings/Minutes....
Since we didn't have a quorum, we need to get a decision on the mailing list.
So, to conclude, Bart and I (jmbuser) are behind the idea.
quaid, stickster, EvilBob, mcgiwer, glezos:
How about you guys?
Are you in favor of using Marc's donated material as the basis for a how-to or not?
Please give us your opinion, for or against.

Appreciate the feedback. I didn't actually read that much into it and since my reply I hadn't read a reply regarding it so I've been waiting not knowing which way to go.
Even if it isn't accepted I would like to contribute to other docs anyway. I just figured since it's the 'easiest' I would start on that area if it was approved.
Cheers,
Marc

Sorry about the lateness of this reply, I had a very full week and weekend. But I took a few moments to look at the site and saw a number of topics that could be integrated in our User Guide and Administration Guide. Marc, are you interested in contributing there? John Babich does the DUG, and Bart Couvreur the AG. You could communicate with them here (I'd recommend that over private email so that people will see activity and be moved to help out too), to figure out what to add and in what context.
There are some topics in your site that are in legally gray areas for Fedora, so those might be best left as is, or contributed to one of the other unofficial sites as desired. John and other FDP members should be able to help you get started integrating the rest. Thanks for stepping up to help out!

Well the simply black and white approved stuff can be moved. I'll try and get in contact with John and Bart in what areas. I'm fairly sure they will face lots of hair pulling for the first one to two goes of this.

Marc
