Hi SandraFYI, I am a grandfather.  For the forums that I frequent, (Fedora, and various others), we don't tolerate abusive or sexist language. These forums have rules posted, that must be read as a condition of joining the forum. When such activities have occurred, a warning is issued to the offender, and there is no second or third chance given. That individual is blacklisted. His offending postings are purged. Well (sry for the top post lol) I understand a lot of FOSS developers are volunteers and understand the frustration of so many who are newcomers, including myself. I try to post smart questions but a lot of times it's spew because I think I have dyslexia.
